Posting every day will not automatically get you clients.

This will

We have been told:

• “Post every day.”
• “Be consistent.”
• “Show up.”

As much as consistency matters here is what nobody says loudly enough:

If you don’t have a strategy for selling something,
social media will frustrate you.

You will post.
You will get likes.
You will even get comments.

But your income will stay quiet.

And slowly… you will stop enjoying posting.

Because you are working without direction.

It’s easier to sell tangible product, because people can see it and touch it,

but selling services calls for a different approach

I’ve been on social media for years.
I’ve monetized in different ways.

Some offers I still use.
Some I tested and stopped.
Some evolved as I grew.

If you are starting your journey or posting without making money these monetization strategies will help you.

Let’s break them down properly.

1. Selling E-Books or Checklists

This is one of the easiest ways to start monetizing your knowledge.

What is included:

  • A clear promise (what result they’ll get)

  • A structured breakdown into chapters or steps

  • Action steps at the end of each section

  • Templates or examples

  • A simple call to action at the end

For example:
An e-book on “Creating a Content Strategy” could include:

  • Understanding your niche

  • Defining your offer

  • 30 content prompts

  • A weekly planning template

  • A checklist for posting

Keep it simple.
Solve one specific problem well.

2. Coaching Calls

Coaching is mainly for people who want personalized help.

For Example: 1-hour call:

Pre-call questionnaire
Live strategy session
Clear action plan
Recording of the session
Follow-up summary

An 8-week program:

Weekly live coaching calls
Step-by-step curriculum
Worksheets
Accountability check-ins
Email or WhatsApp support

People will not pay for information.
They will pay for the transformation.

Make the end goal clear.

3. Events

Events position you as an authority.

What is included in a workshop or masterclass:

  • A clear theme

  • Structured teaching slides

  • Interactive Q&A

  • Practical exercises

  • Offer pitch at the end. I sold several copies of my Book ‘From Follower To Client”, it was directly connected to what the masterclass was all about.

Events should always:
Deliver value.
Build trust.
Lead to your next offer.

4. Physical Books

A physical book builds credibility differently.

What is included:

Deep teaching on one topic
Case studies or real examples
Reflection questions
Practical exercises
Resources section

You can create:

  • A workbook

  • A guide

  • A strategy manual

Physical products increase perceived authority and open speaking opportunities.
One of my new high ticket clients, picked interest after reading my book..

5. Done-For-You Services

This is where you solve the problem directly.

For example, a systems creation package.

What is included:

  • Discovery call

  • Strategy mapping

  • System setup (tools, automation, structure)

  • Implementation support

  • Final walkthrough

  • 14–30 days post-delivery support

Done-for-you services require:
Clear deliverables.
Clear timeline.
Clear scope.

They are higher touch and of a higher value.

6. Memberships

Memberships create recurring income and community.

Instead of selling once,
you create ongoing support.

What to include in a strong membership:

  • Monthly live training

  • Group coaching call

  • Resource library (templates, recordings)

  • Community group access

  • Monthly implementation challenge

  • Accountability system

You can also include:

  • Guest experts

  • Office hours

  • Content audits

  • Quarterly planning sessions

Memberships work well when your audience needs:
Ongoing guidance.
Accountability.
Community support.

Even 30–50 members paying monthly creates stability, however it is very demanding and requires a proper structure.

Final points to note

Posting every day is not the goal.

Building an offer is.

Before you post tomorrow, ask:

• What is my main offer?
• What is included in it?
• Is it clear?
• Am I talking about it consistently?

Content without an offer is not business.

Consistency without strategy is exhausting

If you want social media to pay you,
decide how you will monetize.

Then create content that leads people there.

Your exercise this week

  • Write down 5 problems or questions your audience asks often

  • Write down 5 different ways you can make money from your audience

  • Break them down into those that can bring in quick money for example e books, and those that require a long term commitment like coaching

  • Write down how you will deliver it to help your audience get results

  • Identify who it is for, and start creating content for them
